NPS was founded in 1979 by Brian Sutton, a former Alexandria Police Officer and his wife Victoria. Over the years NPS has established long standing relationships with our clients and are the exclusive vendor of security services for several prestigious construction and property management firms in Northern Virginia and Maryland.

All of our staff are fully vetted with complete FBI background and employment checks, and as a certified training school for DCJS (Department of Criminal Justice) in VA, we require continuing training for all staff members, management included. All staff are certified and trained according to DCJS standards, and beyond. Our Maryland staff members meet all the criteria as required by the Maryland State Police and in many cases, are retired law enforcement.

All staff on sites are regularly supervised by our roving supervisory staff, and we use a computerized monitoring system on all sites, so as to verify the officers’ rounds activity. In addition, each officer is required to submit a hand written shift report, so you, the Client, are always aware of any activity at your location.
