Over twelve years ago Beatty Management Co., Inc. retained the services of National Protective Services to protect a portion of the 3 million square feet of owned retail, office and industrial property we built and manage. National Protective Services started with approximately 170,000 sq ft of retail space to guard. The dynamics of the aforementioned properties was incredible. Loitering Day laborers, non English speaking merchants and various potentially dangerous unlawful activity required “hands on” participation from our security contractor. National Protective Services began to communicate effectively with merchants creating harmony within the shopping center and brought all undesired activity to a complete halt. Over the years, NPS has garnered a safe and stable property thereby increasing the value to Ownership.

Over the years NPS has become our exclusive security contractor and we will not entertain any new contractors as we have developed a superior working relationship. NPS was awarded another 534,000 sq ft of retail space in Maryland and now enjoys a total of 704,000 sq ft of security responsibility. Robin Sutton, VP facilitates communication to the Landlord by making monthly personal visits to our offices. NPS administration sends monthly security reports and calls regularly when an urgent issue requires resolution.
